Traffic Office Apprenticeship
Course Duration is approximately 12 months. Entry Requirements: Candidates aged 16-18 are fully funded. Funding for 19+ is more limited, please contact us for details. Candidates cannot be on any other funded scheme and should ideally be employed or sponsored by a company in the transport/logistics industry. Objectives: Employers want to make the most of everyone is potential by attracting new talent into the industry, especially women and those from underrepresented groups and encourage existing staff to gain Level 2 qualifications. This apprenticeship is offered at Level 2 or 3 (advanced). Level 2 apprentices can work as Traffic Office Clerks and this framework also provides progression opportunities to move into Level 3 apprenticeship which is aimed at Traffic Office Manager. Content: The scheme will involve building an individual Learning Plan for each candidate to ensure they receive the maximum benefit from their time as an apprentice. A programme that involves theoretical and practical input both at work and at our centre is agreed by provider, employer and candidate. Regular reviews are held to ensure all parties are aware of progress and additional support is provided where required. An apprenticeship comprises elements that ensure that upon completion the candidate can function competantly within their chosen vocation.
