Trainload wins contract in Turkey

Tupras Turkish Petroleum Refineries Corp. Trainload Limited has successfully won a 1 million pound plus contract to supply Tüpraş (Turkish Petroleum Refineries Corporation) for the design, engineering, and supply of four new Bitumen Loading arms at their Kırıkkale Refinery. The project also includes upgrading the existing control room panels as well as supervision for the installation and commissioning of the project. Jason Dear, Managing Director of Trainload Limited, says, “We are delighted to have been awarded the contract with Tüpraş, although the contract has a very tight deadline to commission Phase 1 by November 2014, and Phase 2 by April 2015, which presented a challenge for the company and has involved many of our engineers working extremely hard to meet these dates” Mr Dear was confident that the project would be on time and on budget.
