DRIVERS TACHOGRAPH CARDS

As featured in the media, changes to the digital tachographs are due in 2019. From the summer 2019 it will be a requirement to fit all new vehicles with Smart tachographs. The electronic makeup of the tachograph will be subject to some dramatic changes, but as far as the driver is concerned very little will have changed regarding everyday use and functionality of the equipment. “Some drivers may have concerns about using existing driver cards in a new tachograph or new cards in a previous generation tachograph.
