APC Overnight gets permission for 10 more longer semi-trailers

28-11-2013

APC Overnight has been allocated 10 more 15.65m longer semi-trailers (LSTs), this is part of the Department for Transport (DfT) trial. The trailers will be built by Cartwright and follows the parcel delivery network’s initial allocation of four LSTs last year, which were put into operation at its sites located in Bellshill, Telford, Thetford and Northampton. The additional trailers are due to be put into operation during the next six months and will include an aerodynamic front in order to both increase capacity and reduce wind drag.
