Vitavox was established in 1931, by a naval serviceman specialising in wireless technology, who recognised the importance of on-board internal communications.

Now based in Elstree, Vitavox (a division of Secomak Ltd) continues to be one of Britain's true remaining defence manufacturers of the highest specification audio equipment. Vitavox have been providing communications systems including loudspeakers, handsets, microphones, headsets, public address systems and tactical communications systems to the military over 80 years.

Vitavox work with customers to integrate required features into the design and manufacture of the product, as well as offer customers an off the shelf selection of products. Vitavox systems are specifically manufactured for use in the damaging and hazardous operational environments encountered both by the equipment and service personnel.
