XTreme Range - Insulated Semi-electric

The new Versalift 'Xtreme Range' is designed in order to provide the user of heavy duty Insulated machines including the VST models, a semi-electric vehicle mounted aerial platform, where the platform is electric and the donor vehicle can be a normally powered HGV chassis or specialist 4x4. The system then enables the operator to switch off their vehicles engine once arrived on site, so that there is no need to run the engine for the PTO, keeping noise levels and emissions down. For maximum efficiency and minimum weight, Lithium-ion technology has been used in the design, this can enable each installation to be tailored to the operational cycle times of the user. The batteries can be charged over night via 2/3 phase electric connection or a 'recharge whilst drive system' is available for extended away from depot operations.
