digipostV represents the first device to combine remote download of any Digital Tachograph with GPS Vehicle Tracking. Operators with VDO 1.3. Tachographs can benefit from unattended remote downloads. An appropriate company card can reside at any location that has access to the Internet and can be validated from the vehicle initiating the download. digipostV adds the ability to include earlier models of Digital Tachograph provided that a company card is present in those vehicles. As digipostV has remote communications built in GPRS we also offer an optional GPS module providing a constant stream of global positioning data. This will allow companies to track their vehicles and gather speed, braking and acceleration data. Now real time data and legal Tachograph download data can truly converge.
