MAHA's new E-BOX provides energy directly at the diagnostics and service workstation

Haldenwang, December 20, 2018.With the new MAHA E-BOX, tripping, temporarily attaching or removing battery chargers is a thing of the past. Almost all popular chargers fit into their own storage compartment and virtually fulfill their purpose without being in the way. "With this combination, we offer a unique solution to the problem of energy supply at the diagnostic and service workstation," explains Holger Seeliger, product manager of the Allgäu manufacturer, enthusiastically. "The required charging current of around 100 Ah, which is specified by many manufacturers, is available at any time directly from the vehicle and thanks to the new E-BOX is easy and practical from above." Regardless of whether the lift is moving or compressed air, power and LAN cables are plugged in, the new version no longer pivots back and forth as in the case of lateral operation. "A round and well thought-out solution that should not be missing from any workplace in the workshop," recommends Seeliger. As standard, the new E-BOX offers two compressed-air connections with safety couplings, three sockets and optionally two LAN sockets and now also the option of integrating a corresponding charger. The cabling is protected unlike other manufacturers in a robust square aluminum tube in L-shape, which provides stability and avoids vibrations. The cabling with a length of 5 meters to the hall ceiling is already included in the standard price. Furthermore, all connections in the E-BOX are already wired at the factory. Optionally, a connection for compressed air preparation and a lift control can be integrated. Of course, the existing MAHA E-BOX is still available as a "slimmer" and space-saving version without a shelf, making it ideal for workplaces where no charger is needed.
