Roberts Travel choose Enviro200

Midlands based bus and tour operator Roberts Travel Group has added two ADL Enviro200s to their 60-strong fleet, which operates local services throughout Leicestershire and the surrounding counties. The new buses will be based at the group’s depot near Coalville and used to serve destinations such as Ashby, Burton, Hinckley, Leicester and Loughborough,as well as East Midlands International Airport. The new Enviro200s are 8.9m models, powered by Cummins ISBe four-cylinder 160PS EEV engines with Allison S2100 transmissions. Both have seating for 31 passengers. Jonathan Hunt, Managing Director of Roberts Travel Group said: “We have 20 years experience operating bus services for local authorities, as well as our own network of scheduled services – many with modern, low floor buses. We looked at a number of options and decided that the Enviro200 was the ideal midi bus for our fleet. The new vehicles provide reliability, fuel efficiency and lower operating costs, and are proving very popular with both drivers and passengers.”
