SAFED - Safe and fuel efficient driving courses have a duration: 1 Day (7 hours Driver CPC) Entry Requirements for SAFED - Safe and fuel efficient driving: Candidates must hold any of the below licences: C, CE, C1, C1E, D1, D Objectives of the SAFED - Safe and fuel efficient driving course : To educate drivers of LGVs in the need for and the ways of obtaining maximum fuel efficiency. Content: Need for Fuel Economy Assessments with Flow Meter Fitted Vehicle Drivers Disciplines Maintenance Practical Driving Routing of vehicles Need for Regular Post Driving Observation and critique. Note: This course can count 7 hours towards the 35 hours needed for Driver CPC periodic training.
