Freezer Van Conversions
Typically a minimum of 75mm of insulation is required to achieve freezer temperatures (-22ºc and below generally requires 100mm insulation). Insulation works to its optimum if kept to an even and continuous thickness throughout, and this is particularly important for freezer van conversions. Converting a panel van has its own inherent difficulties due to the body contours and access points within the vehicle load space. We use only the best Styrofoam insulation, we do not reduce the insulation thickness where panels meet and we fully insulate the wheel boxes. Our precision built panels are manufactured to ensure a correct fit and to maintain an even thickness of insulation throughout, preventing “hot spot” areas, which guarantees temperatures as low as -21°c in external ambient temperatures of up to 30°c. The finished conversion is heavy duty and suitable for all loads whether you are a producer, wholesaler or courier needing to transport frozen or multi-temperature items and produce. For more information, contact us today. Our standard frozen conversion is supplied with the side door sealed and paneled over with insulated wrap around freezer door panels fitted to the rear doors. Side door access can be retained, various options suitable for frozen use are listed in our optional extras page. All the leading manufacturer refrigeration systems are available through us, we can provide unbiased advice as to the best model to suit. Key Features: Quality built insulated panels with full attention paid to the prevention of heat ingress; High impact resistance; Structurally stable with long life durability; Maximum load space; The panels are installed to close tolerances to fit all vehicle contours, and guaranteed leak-proof Temperatures down to -21ºc with cost option available for -25ºc Heat/Cool Freeze available.Visit the Vantastec Ltd website for more information on Freezer Van Conversions
