Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)

An electrostatic discharge will severely damage your rear view digital camera system if there is no ESD protection circuit. When the operate touches the monitor or camera, the high electrostatic voltage of 2kv/4kv/5kv/6kv/8kv will discharge between the user and the equipment, leading to the high voltage damaging the monitor. The Monitor and camera systems supplied by TruckGuard use a very special component inside to avoid this damage. The high electrostatic voltage will never damage our monitors or cameras.
