theft protection with zero liability Unlike most other fuel card companies, all of our Account Managers are in regular contact with their clients, and from these conversations it became clear to us at The Fuelcard People that one of our customers’ biggest worries is the possibility of fraud. All of our fuel card products provide a secure way for you to allow your drivers to purchase diesel and petrol: our cards are much better than cash our cards are much safer than credit and debit cards However, we have listened to our valued customers and have launched an additional service, Card Protect. This has been designed with YOU in mind, to provide you with additional security and peace of mind Card Protect is simple, here’s how it works: 1. *All of your cards issued by The Fuelcard People would be included in this new service. 2. There is a minimal monthly charge for this service. Please contact us for more information. 3. Card Protect covers your business for losses of up to 12,000 litres on your fuel card account. 4. Contact us with the relevant details of the card, when it has been lost or stolen. 5. Use eServices to report loss or theft. You must apply for a username and password in advance which can be activated by registering online. Alternatively, during office hours, report its loss/theft by phone. 6. From this point you will no longer be liable for fuel card transactions. 7. Your business and your employees will void this service if there is evidence of internal fraud or collusion.
