Manager CPC Managers Certificate of Professional Competence The Certificate of Professional Competence is a qualification that is required for anyone wishing to take employement in the Road Haulage Industry as a Transport Manager or Owner Operator. When becoming an operator, the CPC is required to obtain an Operators Licence or 'O' Licence. Courses are run four times a year in accordance with OCR Examination Board. In order to pass the CPC, a candidate must pass two examinations: Multiple Choice Case Study NOTE As of 2012, the CPC Qualification now covers both National & International Operations. For those who already have the 'old' National Qualification and wish to upgrade to International, you will need to sit an Upgrade exam before the end of 2012.
