Nationwide Transport Training

The legislation requires all professional drivers to undertake periodic (ongoing) training of 35 hours every 5 years. Operators and drivers need to start planning NOW to ensure that appropriate periodic training is booked, on approved training courses, for the vast majority of drivers. Change has arrived. New EU legislation came into force on the 10th September 2008 for PCV drivers, and the same legislation comes into force for LGV drivers on the 10th Sept 2009.
