CS Evolution CSE230 solar regulator Similar to the CSE240 (MLN030807) regulator but does not have the ability to also charge the vehicle�s engine battery, hence the price is a little cheaper. The CSE230 regulator is able to charge batteries, at the rate of 20A and regulate up to 230W of power (ie. 2 x 115W panels). The regulator can charge either lead acid or gel batteries by using the selector switch accordingly. The regulator uses the same microprocessor technology as the CSE240 (MLN030807) regulator ie. only uses 0.05 Amp of current in order to charge the batteries.
