Platform will also have a drop down barrier to restrict trolleys from rolling forward. A 20 amp, 240 volt, single-phase supply is required terminated in a double pole switch at the lower level. Control is via a hold to run control station adjacent to the gates at both levels. Included is a 12 months Statutory Inspection and maintenance this ensures continued safe and reliable use of the equipment and full compliance with current legislation. In brief it comprises an annual service with thorough examination and test, a six-month inspection and test and all labour or callout charges.
