AlNiCo Rod Magnets

Alnico rod magnets are a strong, cylindrical magnet with a thickness that�s equal to or larger than their diameter. Their shape means they generate extremely high levels of magnetism from a small surface pole area, giving them a high Gauss value (the measurement used to determine the intensity of a magnetic field). Because their poles are further apart, alnico rod magnets throw their field much further than other types of magnets, making them great for things like reed-switch and Hall-effect sensor-based security systems.
