The Bag-it's' Portable Tyre Inflation Safety Device is the result of a two year development program, to provide the best possible protection to the tyre fitter.
The Bag-it is not designed to contain the explosion but to diffuse it, all this happens in a split second during the most violent and dangerous part of the explosion. The Bag-it also achieves a further vital objective, it contains the
shrapnel from the wheel and Tyre assembly which can be projected at bullet like speed into faces and particularly eyes which would almost certainly cause serious injury.
The Bag-it has been rigorously tested by Rapra Technology in the UK to establish its technical and safety credentials.
Although primarily designed for use as a stand alone unit, it should also be used in conjunction with other fixed and portable safety devices (safety wages & retaining frames) for maximum fitter protection.
