This is a European manufactured Heavy Duty Professional machine. The Simply 2 has a high output power of 2400kg (10 bar) which is suitable for most cars, suv's, 4x4's and light commercials on the road today. This unit boasts quality double pistons giving double the thrust power of our standard unit (2400kg at 10bar). This means it can compress some of the toughest springs on the market today such as light commercials, Large Mercedes ML springs, Nissan Navara, 4 x 4's etc. The unit has an extra long stroke of 440mm meaning it will do all the complicated springs such as Mercedes, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc…
The Semad Professional Air Operated and Mechanically operated coil spring compressors have been tried and tested over many years throughout the UK and Europe.
There are 2 main issues to consider when it comes to compressing coil springs...
1. Safety of the Operator
2. How long it takes to do the job
We cover both bases. Safety is paramount and with our units the operator is extra safe. Compressing Coil Springs is a dangerous task so the more safety features you can include the better. Our unit does not work unless the triple bar safety cage is lowered and then locked into place. Added to this the wire safety rope is threaded through the spring and locked meaning the spring can NEVER leave the machine. Safety at its best.
Whilst these machines are more expensive than the traditional smaller tools, having peace of mind knowing your work force are safe and avoidance of large litigation cases mean they are well worth the extra cost.
The other consideration is the amount of time it takes to do the job in hand. The most biggest cost in the workshop today is TIME. This unit wiill save the operator time and keep them safe. This means more profit for the busy workshop.
The only two accessories we offer for this unit are as follows;-
H5200 Universal top plate that we suggest you use if the jaws are not suitable for your application. With the top plate you have everything you need to compress the springs on the majority of vehicles, in a safe and yet quick way.
We also offer a higher extension base which can be fitted to any of the simply models to raise the machine by 30cm making it easier to operate for some people. (A9111).
We keep a full range of spare parts for these machines and so you will be guaranteed a machine that is always in operation.
