This unit has a Lithium Iron Phospahte battery which shouldn't be mistaken for the cheaper lithium polymer batteries in many other models. When used correctly; the pack is very safe and wont swell and get hot like some others may do.

* Electronic Protection

These boosters have many inbuilt safety features. They have protection for:- reverse polarity, low voltage, overcharge and overheating. This unit will also only give 10 seconds to start the vehicle then it will click into a 60 second cool down mode to ensure the unit isnt overcranked or overheating.
