Rapid Rescue Mixer Access Covers

Hymix has recently developed the ‘Rapid Rescue’ mixer drum access cover, which is currently available as an option in the P-6000 and P-8000 mixer units, but can be ordered at the time of drum replacement in most 6x4 and 8x4 units. A retrofit programme may be possible please enquire for further details. The aperture provides a clear entry / exit of 900mm x 900 mm in the side of the drum this is far more than the minimum required for an emergency stretcher, but when difficulties arise, who wants to rely on the minimum? Whilst the cover is flush with the drum skin giving a smooth and easily cleaned drum that looks as good as it performs, all edges are smooth so as to eliminate the delays that occur when straps or clothing catch on traditional cover fixings. In the same way the risk of any additional build up is minimized, and the drum is given additional strength.
