A true family-run business G. Webb, based in Cambridge, have recently taken delivery of an Iveco AT340T41K 8x4 Trakker which features a 13 litre EEV engine 410BHP, 12 speed Eurotronic gearbox, 20t payload, high roof sleeper cab and has an Aliweld body & Harsh under floor tipping gear. This vehicle is designed to produce excellent fuel economy and on its maiden voyage it recorded figures of 9.8MPG.

G. Webb have been in business for over 60 years. Founded in 1947 by the original George Webb, it all began with a breakdown and vehicle recovery business. The current joint managing director, George Webb, is the grandson of the founder and shares responsibility for the company with his uncle David, who is also joint managing director.

The company operates over forty vehicles under G. Webb Haulage and G. Webb Aggregates. The aggregates business began in 1997 and now supplies up to 500,000 tonnes of bulk construction materials per year. The haulage operation can transport and dispose of contaminated soils and wastes. The company continues to remain true to the principles of the original George Webb and offer a quality service to all customers.
